LEADER: Conference in November to Focus on North / South Cooperation

The Rural Network for Northern Ireland and the Ireland National Rural Network are holding a joint conference exploring the theme of LEADER Co-operation within the context of their current Rural Development Programmes.

There is no charge for attending the conference.

The purpose of the event is to increase awareness, promote opportunities, animate areas, harmonise procedures, establish partnerships and enhance networking.    

Date:    Tuesday 8 – Wednesday 9 November 2016
Time:    Day 1: 11.30am (Registration from 11.00 am) / Day 2:  9.30am-1.00pm
Venue:  Canal Court Hotel, Newry, Co. Down www.canalcourthotel.com

Who should attend?  

Up to 3 representatives from each Local Action Group (LAG) are invited.  Attendance should be prioritised for those who are/will be actively involved in the planning and delivery of co-operation projects within the LAG.    

There is no charge for attending the conference.  However, travel/accommodation costs are at the expense of the LAG.
