Jack & Jill Foundation To Release Charity Pop Song

If music be the food of love, The Jack & Jill Foundation are playing on...

The Foundation has recently announced that it will be releasing it’s first ever charity single nationwide on Friday, 11th July. It is hoped that the release of the single, entitled “Keela Mae”, will help to raise much needed funds for the children and families that the Foundation provides home respite care for everyday.

Performed by the Irish singer songwriter Nigel Connel, “Keela Mae” deals with the tragic loss of a young baby. It was on hearing the song that Jonathan Irwin, the founder of The Jack & Jill Foundation, felt the message definitively described the emotional turmoil his charity witnesses every day working with the families of sick children.

"Keela Mae" will be on sale, Friday 11th July in shops nationwide.

It will also be available from Claddagh Records and for download on www.jackandjill.ie or www.nigelconnell.com with all proceeds going to the Jack and Jill foundation.
