IPB Community Engagement Fund Invites Applications

The IPB Community Engagement Fund 2015 is now open for applications.

To continue it's commitment of supporting the invaluable work being done in local communities across Ireland, IPB have allocated a further €1 million for 2015.

The purpose of this year’s fund is to support projects rooted in the local area, led by local people and to improve the quality of life for those living in their community.

It is aimed at empowering local people, enabling them to create lasting change in their communities, and will support activities that contribute to local community priorities.

IPB is committed to ensuring that this €1 million fund is accessible to grassroots organisations aiming to bring real enhancements to local communities.

Who Can Apply?

You must be a voluntary, community, not-for-profit, charitable organisation that operates at a local level within the Republic of Ireland. Cross-border projects may be supported; however, the lead applicant will be required to reside in one of the 26 counties.

The project should not commence before IPB confirm the funding award is made, as payments will not be made retrospectively (i.e. costs already incurred). Only one application per organisation operating at a local level may be submitted.

You may apply for one of the following three funding amounts only:

  • 5,000  euro
  • 10,000 euro
  • 20,000 euro

IPB’s contribution to the project must be at least 20% of the total project cost and you must already have 10% of the funding secured when you apply. IPB will require a letter from your treasurer/officer of your organisation confirming that you have the available funds.

It is expected that 100 funding awards will be made.

Deadline for applications: Friday 20 March @ 5pm
