A New Governance Code for Community, Voluntary and Charity Organisations
The Working Group of eleven organisations which has developed the draft Governance Code for the community and voluntary sector in Ireland is pleased to announce that the public consultation period has been extended to 29 July, 2011. The four week extension is a result of the feedback received during the seven national-wide workshops held in May and June. Please go to
www.governancecode.ie and download the draft Code for your organisation and tell us what you think before 29 July.
To help you and provide a forum for any questions you might have, five 45-minute on-line 'webinars' (web-based seminars) have been organised for the following dates:

- Thursday, 21 July
- Tuesday, 26 July
