Donation of Telephone Systems

ATS, the Irish telecoms company, has launched an initiative whereby it will donate a phone system, handsets and voicemail system to schools, charities & non-profit organisations across Ireland.

The only cost is a small installation fee per system, with all equipment being provided for free.

ATS has recently commenced a technology refresh project for a large multisite customer and as a result it has recovered a significant number of Toshiba DK280 second user phone systems and 100’s of handsets.

ATS are reluctant to dispose of these systems as not only does the company feel that it is wasteful, but its also adding to an environmental waste issue which is bad enough as it is.

Since ATS launched this program, it has given away over 50 telephone systems. It originally supplied and have maintained these systems during their time on the customer site and can testify that they are all in good working order.
