Coca-Cola Ireland 'Thank You Fund' Open for Applications

To celebrate 125 years, Coca-Cola has established the Coca-Cola 125 Years Thank You Fund, in partnership with The Wheel and the Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action NICVA.

Coca-Cola Fund LogoCoca-Cola are donating €125,000 to the fund. Ten organisations will receive €10,000 each and five organisations will receive €5,000 each.
 
The Coca-Cola 125 Years Thank You Fund is open to non-profit community, voluntary and charitable organisations throughout the Island of Ireland to help support initiatives focused on the following areas: Social and Education programmes aimed at youth, Healthy and Active Lifestyles and Environmental Leadership.
 
Social and Education programmes aimed at youth - for example, not for profit community, voluntary and charitable organisations that work with young people to help improve access to education and organisations that support young people at risk as a result of economic or social issues.
 
Healthy and Active Lifestyles - for example, not for profit community, voluntary and charitable organisations that facilitate access to exercise and physical activity and organisations that run programmes that encourage lifestyle/behavioral changes as well as organisations that help to educate people about the role of nutrition in a healthy lifestyle.

The deadline for applications is 30 June, 2011

 
Environmental Leadership - for example, not for profit community, voluntary and charitable organisations that work in the areas of recycling or reuse, those that are focused on water projects or organisations focused on educating people about sustainable practices.
