Ryanair will be taking on the Irish Firebrigade in the battle for the top charity calendar this Christmas.
Despite protests from women advocacy groups across Europe the budget airline is determined to again line up female cabin crew members to pose for the calendar. The airline claims that a poll of their passengers showed that most supported a woman only calendar.
Their calendar will now be in direct competition to the Irish Fire Brigade's offering which sold 20,000 copies in 2008.
Both calendars will be released on time for the Christmas market, and the fire fighters will be out on the streets of Dublin selling the calendars. It is not yet clear which charities will benefit from the calendars.
