Better Together: Raise Awareness of Your Cause and Win 3,000 Euro for Your Organisation!

The Wheel will be launching a major national public awareness campaign on 13 October to help build support for charities, community groups, clubs and associations by providing them with an opportunity to showcase their work to an international audience.

better together

The Better Together! campaign will centre on an online video website (www.bettertogether.ie) and a national competition for the most inspiring and engaging Youtube clips. We hope all our members will find a way to become involved and support this innovative way of showcasing our collective work to the general public.

Show the World Why We Are Better Together

Show the world the great work your organisation is doing by creating a short video clip (no longer than two minutes) around the theme "Better Together! Your video should communicate what your organisation does, why you think it is better to work together and how the public can support your work.

Your video will be hosted on www.bettertogether.ie where it will help to raise the profile of your organisation and attract new supporters, donors or volunteers. The public can vote for their favourite clip, and the creators of the three best clips will win €3,000 each for their organisation.

The Better Together! campaign will be launched on  13 October, but you can start uploading your clips from 6 October. The earlier you upload your clip the more votes it is likely to get!

Better Together Begins 13 October

The Better Together! campaign will be launched on  13 October, but you can start uploading your clips from 6 October.

The Better Together! campaign will be promoted through a national radio, newspaper and online advertising campaign (1-20 November, 2010). The closing date for entries is 15 November and the winners will be announced at a special ceremony in Dublin on 25 November.
