Applications Invited for the OLC Ireland Trust Fund

The OLC Ireland Trust Fund is open for its only round of grant applications in 2012. The fund seeks to enhance the lives of marginalised women in Ireland. Small grants are available for organisations working with women in the areas of Addiction, Trafficking, Prostitution, Violence and Abuse.

About the Fund

Applications from organisations must be from community and voluntary groups that possess charitable aims and are not for profit. Organisations should also display the following qualities;

  • A commitment to Equal opportunities
  • A willingness to share learning with others
  • Where possible, that service users are involved in the design, planning and delivery of the project
  • A commitment to working in partnership with other organisations
  • Applications should include clear, detailed realistic costings and timescales
  • For larger grants the project must be sustainable beyond a three year period or completed within this term
  • The OLC Ireland Trust Fund will support areas that are not currently well supported by the state
  • Repeat applications will be considered. This means that where organisations have received funding from the OLC Ireland Trust Fund previously they may re-apply for the same work providing they have returned their Outcome Report and can demonstrate the impact achieved.

The deadline for applying is 31 May, 2012.
