The Carmelite Community Centre is located on Aungier Street in the heart of Dublin City. It provides meeting space and activities for a large variety of local  groups and visitors and is very a central part of life for the people of Dublin 2 and 8.

The key responsibilities of the Household /Cleaning assistant are:

  • Cleaning of all areas open to the public
  • Cleaning of meeting rooms
  • Polishing floors using specialist cleaning equipment
  • Window cleaning

Skills Needed:

  • Willingness to learn
  • Physically strong as job involes manual work and use of machinery
  • A good understanding of English.
  • A can do attitude and pleasent manner
  • Team Player

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those 21 years of age and over. Applicants must also be in receipt of an Irish Social welfare payment for 1 year or more.

You must also be prepared to complete Garad Vetting and provide 2 references.
