A key member of GOAL’s fundraising team

Established in 1977, GOAL is an international humanitarian agency dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the poor and the vulnerable and is currently operating in 12 countries world-wide. GOAL delivers a wide range of humanitarian and development programmes, ranging from humanitarian relief in disaster situations to supporting the development of healthcare services and building sustainable livelihoods. Since its foundation, GOAL has allocated more than €910 million to humanitarian programmes in over 50 countries.
In 2016 GOAL’s total income was €162m of which fundraising was €2.6m. Income from individual giving is a significant proportion of GOAL’s fundraised income. To ensure this continued success and to lead the organisation’s individual giving activity, GOAL is seeking to appoint a Global Individual Giving Manager.

The Global Individual Giving Manager will be a key member of GOAL’s fundraising team and will be responsible for leading the development and management of the organisation’s individual giving strategy. Reporting to the Head of Global Fundraising and Marketing, the post-holder will identify and use the best channels for donor recruitment and for developing the donor journey pathway to maximise lifetime value from donors.

The Global Individual Giving Manager will ensure that individual giving targets are met by ensuring the successful delivery of a range of donor recruitment activities through methods such as direct mail, direct dialogue, raffle, DRTV, tele-marketing and digital campaigns. The post-holder will have the ability to secure maximum value and ROI from donors and the ability to identify new and innovative donor opportunities. GOAL is seeking an experienced and driven manager with prior experience in individual giving fundraising, public fundraising or high-end business development from a private sector background.
