The Carmelite Community Centre is located on Aungier Street in the heart of Dublin City. Ot provides meeting space and activities for a large variety of groups and visitors and is a very central part of life for the people of Dublin 2 and 8.

The Key responsabilities of the Coffee Shop assistant are:

  • To serve coffee shop customers in a polite, friendly and efficent manner.
  • To help set up coffee shop daily for service.
  • To serve and clear up after customers.
  • To support catering staff with service of food.
  • To process payment for items purchased ensuring correct money is paid and correct change is given.
  • To check float and open till for business
  • To cash up till at clsoe of business

Skills needed:

  • Customer focused person
  • Good communication skills and pleasent manner
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to process payments
  • Attention to detail and understanding of importence of hygiene in food business
