Ireland’s Rich List
The 20th Annual Sunday Times Rich List was published on 27th April 2008. In the publication and on the website there is a section dedicated to Ireland's wealthiest people which shows that Sean Quinn is Ireland's richest man and comes in 12th in the overall list in the UK (up two places from 2007).

Remember, though, that simply having a lot of money does not necessarily make someone a good potential donor. Heed the adage ‘people give to people.’ Philanthropy is essentially about building relationships, and about giving people good, compelling reasons to support your cause.
