Scheme to Support National Organisations (SSNO)

We wish to acknowledge the funding received under the Scheme to Support National Organisations (SSNO) 2016 – 2019 from the Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government. Administered through Pobal, this funding supports a percentage of core staff costs at The Wheel.
 

              



 

Department of Education and Skills – National Training Fund

The Department of Education and Skills support The Wheel through the National Training Fund which supports a wide range of training delivery to the community, voluntary and charity sector.
 

                  



 

Europe for Citizens

The Wheel is the National Contact Point in Ireland for the Europe for Citizens Programme. We provide information to civil society organisations with support from the Europe for Citizens Programme of the European Union.
 

              




EU Parliament

The Wheel’s 2016-2017 Civil Society and the European Parliament – Shaping Europe’s Future projectis funded by the EU.  
 

                   




National Rural Network (NRN)

The Wheel is a member of the consortium implementing the National Rural Network (NRN) in Ireland, (www.nationalruralnetwork.ie) which is a component of the Rural Development Programme (2014-2020). The National Rural Network is funded by the European Union (EU) through the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. This is a 5-year contract running from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2020.
 

                                




Carnegie (UK) Trust

We wish to acknowledge funding towards the People’s Conversation (Phase II) for the period July 2016 to December 2017.
