The Wheel's 2017 Board Elections

The Wheel's Board Nominations 2017

The nominations process for potential election to The Wheel’s Board of Directors is now open!

Are you interested in playing a role in how ‘big-picture-cross-sector’ issues such as the reputation of the community, voluntary & charity sector; the effectiveness of outcomes in such organisations in Ireland; charity regulation; how the relationship between the sector and the State; and good practice standards are shaped and considered?

If so, then stepping forward to potentially take on a leadership role on the Board of Directors of The Wheel, which will have an impact across the whole sector, could be for you.

Three new board members will be elected at The Wheel’s Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, 27 June 2017. These three new board members will consist of:

  • 2 x new board members elected from amongst our Full Membership
  • 1 x new board member elected from amongst our Individual Membership.

This might be your chance - or the chance for someone you know - to help affect the policies and direction of a nationally significant charity. We invite all elegible parties drawn from the two above categories to consider making a nomination today.
