What organisation can possibly afford to ignore the world of social media today? It's usurping email, it's bypassing organisational websites, it's leaving print for dead. Facebook, Twitter (and a whole host of lesser known brands) are now part of the way that we all communicate - and that influence is only set to increase in the coming years. 

So clearly, using social media - and using it well - should be of paramount importance to every community and voluntary organisation.
