The Department of Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs is preparing its Statement of Strategy for the three-year period from 2011 to 2013, and is currently consulting with stakeholders and clients.
The Department of Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs is preparing it's Strategy for 2011 to 2013 - what do you think should be prioritised in it?
The Department notes that "the Strategy Statement for the period 2011 to 2013 will focus primarily on the key commitments in the Programme for Government, Revised Programme for Government and the other Government strategies" and is inviting submissions - before the 20th August 2010 - on strategic issues that should be identified and prioritised in the Strategy Statement.
The Department’s business areas and mandate includes:

• Rural Development
• Gaeltacht and Island Development
• Promotion and Maintenance of the Irish Language
• North/South Co-operation
• Charities Regulation
• Disability Policy
• Traveller Policy

• Social Inclusion and Family Support
