Charities Bite Back Against Budget Cuts
Campaigners and charities are united in their opposition to the drastic cuts contained in Budget 2011.
St Vincent de Paul said that the Budget would cause real hardship and that, "many more people are going to be in poverty".
The homeless services charity, Focus Ireland, warned that the cuts would drive more people into living on the streets.
Susan McKay, CEO of the National Women's Council, said that, "even the IMF recognised that women are needed for Ireland's recovery. This budget ignores that fact."
