Annual Conference 2011
The Wheel's 2011 Annual Conference for the community and voluntary sector took place on Thursday, 26 May at the Croke Park Conference Centre.
Phil Hogan TD, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government delivered his first major address to the sector at the conference.
In a wide-ranging speech the Minister set out his vision for the sector and made many points that provide a good indication of his priorities for supporting and developing the sector and our sector’s role in sustaining Ireland’s communities.
