Is Anarcho-Primitivism the solution to our planetary woes?
Anarcho-primitivism is an anarchist critique of the origins and progress of civilisation.
According to anarcho-primitivists, the shift from hunter-gatherer to agricultural subsistence gave rise to social stratification, coercion and alienation.
Anarcho Primitivists advocate a return to non-“civilised” ways of life through deindustrialisation, abolition of the division of labour and abandonment of large-scale technologies.
Anarcho-primitivists seek to escape domestication through achieving a feral state of being through “rewilding” and dismantling the infrastructure of civilization.
Anarcho primitivists view language and symbolic thought as especially problematic as both separate us from direct and unmediated contact with reality.
Such anarcho-primitivists would prefer to completely eliminate language and all forms of symbolic culture, to enable humanity to finally be at one with nature.

deindustrialisation in Cambodia back in the late '70's. Not sure it's the way to go!
